NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

Has been implemented by the Federal Government to enable people under 65 with a disability to:

  • Receive Care, and
  • Receive Supports
  • Have Choice and Rights
Once a person has access to the NDIS they are able to access funding for, care and supports requested, if it has been deemed:
  • Reasonable, and
  • Necessary
  • Is related to their Disability
The funding is designed to increase:
  • Independence
  • Social and Community Participation
  • Access Assistive Technology Required
  • Supports to Assist and Skill Build
  • Achieve their Goals
  • Increase Choice and Quality of Life
